High Sensitivity Outdoor Microphone for IP Security Cameras with Warning Decal

Product Description Included in the package are a waterproof microphone, user guide, 1 to 2 Y-Shape DC power splitter cable, and a warning decal. The complementary warning decal should be placed at the entrance of the monitoring area in conjunction with the microphone, as instructed in the user guide.

Microphone's Port Diagram The active microphone requires 12V DC and 20mA. It features an RCA audio female and male two-in-one port design, eliminating the need for adapters. Users can choose the appropriate port based on their camera type. Please note that a 3.5mm jack is not supported directly and requires an adapter for use.

Powering the Microphone without Running an Additional Power Line For non-PoE IP cameras, use the Y-shape splitter to divide the DC power from the adapter into two streams: one for the camera and one for the microphone. With a Sunba 507 PoE camera, a DC male to male converter is needed to connect the microphone to the camera's DC port. For Sunba 405/601 PoE cameras, a special DC male port is available at the camera's end for direct connection to the microphone.

They have inclusive RCA outputs for audio in/out and a free switch for IP cameras with female/male RCA audio ports. Power requirement is DC 12V, 0.02A, with a DC splitter cable included. The microphone has a monitoring range of up to 540 square feet, sensitivity ranging from -4.0dB to +3.0dB, and automatic gain control of 40db with Maxim 9814 chip. Additional items required for installation include 3mm screws (not included). The microphone is designed to withstand intensive weather conditions with a working temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
